Beef Jerky

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. round roast
  • 1 c orange juice
  • 3/4 c soy sauce
  • 3/4 c teriyaki sauce
  • 5 slices pickled jalapenos
  • Directions

    1. Cut roast into 1/4 inch "steaks".
    2. Tenderize both sides of the steaks to about half their width.
    3. Immersion blend other ingredients together until jalapenos are cut very fine.
    4. Marinate for 48 hours.
    5. Smoke at 180 for 3 hours.
    6. Dry at 225 for about 2 hours.
    7. Allow to cool.
    8. Vacuum seal and freeze.

    Notes

  • Store in refrigerator. once open, eat within a week.
  • Freeze for up to 6 months.
